Ash is a woodwind specialist with a passion for making music accessible and enjoyable for everyone. They are committed to inclusive teaching and have worked with students of all ages and backgrounds through their work at Crescendo Music School.

Ash is a strong advocate for ensemble music making and has directed a range of groups, including beginner clarinet ensembles, Folk Fusion and the Crescendo Saxophone Choir. At York Music Education, they will be teaching woodwind and leading one of our ensembles.

Alongside their teaching, Ash performs regularly with ensembles including Subjude, Intimate Winds, Restored Sound and the Butterfly Club. They also lead creative workshops in schools and across the wider community, encouraging people of all ages to develop their musical skills and confidence.
