Dan has a background in IT and previously worked for Microsoft UK Ltd before setting up a software business that provides ticketing services to schools and community organisations across the UK.

Alongside this, he has long been involved in community theatre as a musician, actor and musical director, with performances at the Grand Opera House York, Monkgate Theatre, Alan Ayckbourn Theatre, York Theatre Royal and Joseph Rowntree Theatre.

Dan’s role is to support the tutors, families and young musicians who make up the York Music Education community, helping to ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
