Michael Armitage is a versatile percussionist and drummer performing across a wide range of musical styles. He has worked professionally throughout the UK and toured in Europe, building a diverse and dynamic performance portfolio.

Originally from Yorkshire, Michael returned to the region to study at Leeds Conservatoire, where he gained both a BA (Hons) and an MA in Percussion.

Alongside his performing career, Michael teaches privately and in schools, supporting young musicians in developing strong technical foundations and musical confidence.
